Our ten teams are soon ending their four months of lectures, workshops and mentoring and are ready to pitch their business ideas to the big audience. They will show you just how mature they have become since the start of their journey. You can have the opportunity to hear out their amazing stories and be part of this event with participating online 7.10.2021 at 12:45-16:15 EEST. The whole event will be streamed live from Platform6 in Tampere Finland, where the event will be held.
We are looking brightly to the future to have our Demo Day at Tampere and finally get to meet all those people behind the screens and gather to spend time together. We will also have our program partners, industry stakeholders and investors joining the event. The whole event will be held in hybrid form as we still have restrictions in number of people we can invite onsite. The day will contain not only pitches but also the program Hub Leader Mirva Lampinen’s thoughts about the program this year and what is expected to come next year, and Tampere Foodtech Ecosystem introduction where they will tell about their ecosystem efforts to support the startup. We will also have a keynote speak by Shilei Zhang who is CCO at Solar Foods, one of the startups that were participating EIT FAN program last year.

Kamupak : Kamupak offers a digital deposit system and a platform to enable reuse and recycling of products in various areas. Kamupak is operating currently in takeaway markets by collaborating with Restaurants, supermarkets and home delivery services.
NORBITE : We transform plastic waste into sustainable goods by means of insect-based biorefinery. Developed a patented technology to enable insects perform at industrial scale, received an LOI.
Planticus : Artificial Intelligence to detect pests and diseases on food crops incorporated in a mobile application.
Revo Foods : We develop plant-based seafood with 3D Food Printing.
Tracegrow : We provide Micronutrient fertilizers from suitable trace nutrients recycled from nutrient-rich industrial waste streams and to develop a recovery process for their recycling and reuse.
Volare : Our technology solves the challenge of large-scale protein and lipid ingredient production from food industry sidestreams. The protein ingredient has unique features, including extremely high digestibility, high protein content, and balanced amino acids
Whywaste : Reduce food waste at your store through data driven solutions.
Yield Systems : Yield Systems is an AI company with strong science background. We develop advanced machine learning and video analytics for digital phenotyping and for the agri-food value chain.
